DESCRIPTION

125th Territorial Defense Brigade Patch 7x8cm — Ukrainian military insignia made from PVC with Velcro (hook side), representing the 125th Brigade of the Territorial Defense Forces. Designed for tactical use on combat uniforms and equipment, this original patch is made in Ukraine and features the emblem of a unit raised during the Russian invasion.

Formed in response to the February 2022 full-scale invasion, the 125th Brigade is headquartered in Lviv and serves as one of the most recently established formations within the TDF structure of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The brigade includes several battalions recruited from among local volunteers and reservists.

Historical Background – 125th Territorial Defense Brigade:

The 125th Territorial Defense Brigade was created in March 2022, shortly after the Russian Federation launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Stationed in Lviv Oblast, the brigade was formed as part of Ukraine’s rapid mobilization effort to strengthen local and national defense capabilities using trained volunteers and reservists.

As a newly formed unit, the 125th Brigade was responsible for the protection of critical infrastructure in western Ukraine, including logistics hubs, transportation corridors, and military supply routes supporting the eastern front. Due to its strategic location, Lviv became a center for humanitarian coordination and military logistics, which the 125th actively secured.

By late 2022, some elements of the brigade were deployed to reinforce defensive lines in Donetsk and Kherson directions. In 2023–2024, the brigade continued to serve both in reserve rotation and in direct combat roles alongside other TDF and regular army formations.

The 125th Brigade remains an active component of Ukraine’s defense forces, contributing to territorial security and nationwide military operations.
