DESCRIPTION

129th Territorial Defense Brigade Patch 7x8cm — original Ukrainian PVC patch with Velcro (hook side), manufactured for the 129th Brigade of the Territorial Defense Forces. This insignia is produced in Ukraine and used on field uniforms, tactical gear, and combat equipment by personnel of the 129th Brigade.

This formation (military unit A7395) is headquartered in Kryvyi Rih, in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, and has been actively involved in defending Ukrainian territory since its establishment in 2022 as part of the Armed Forces’ response to the full-scale Russian invasion.

Historical Background – 129th Territorial Defense Brigade:

The 129th Territorial Defense Brigade (unit A7395) was formed in 2022, amid Ukraine’s rapid territorial defense expansion following the Russian invasion. It was created in Kryvyi Rih, a strategic industrial center in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, to safeguard regional infrastructure and contribute to national defense operations.

Soon after its formation, the 129th Brigade became an active combat unit. Its battalions were involved in defensive actions along the southern and southeastern axes, particularly supporting Ukrainian efforts in Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, and Donetsk regions. The brigade was noted for participating in the Kherson counteroffensive, where it helped push Russian forces across the Dnipro River.

Throughout 2023 and into 2024, the brigade continued front-line duties, rotating across active sectors and supporting stabilization in contested areas. As part of Ukraine’s Territorial Defense Forces, the 129th maintains operational readiness for both regional defense and deployment to active combat zones.
