Historical Background – 38th Separate Marine Brigade:
Formed in 2023 as part of the renewed expansion of Ukraine’s Naval Infantry, the 38th Separate Marine Brigade is one of the newest additions to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Based in the south of Ukraine, the brigade was established in response to increased amphibious and ground threats during the Russian invasion.

Despite its recent formation, the brigade has already taken part in key operations defending Ukrainian territories in southern and eastern regions.
