3rd Special Purpose Center Patch 7×9.5cm is an elite-level tactical insignia representing Ukraine’s 3rd Separate Special Purpose Center, one of the most experienced and combat-proven units of the Special Operations Forces (SSO) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This patch measures 7×9.5 cm, made from durable PVC, and comes with a Velcro (hook side) backing for use on tactical gear, uniforms, or field equipment.

Operators of this center carry out deep reconnaissance, direct action, targeted eliminations, sabotage, and covert infiltration missions — often behind enemy lines. The unit has played a key role in critical operations since the beginning of the Russian invasion.

Historical Background – 3rd Special Purpose Center (SSO):
The 3rd Center is one of the most legendary units within Ukraine’s Special Operations Forces. Based in Kropyvnytskyi, the unit has been operating since the early stages of Russia’s aggression in 2014 and is known for taking part in high-risk strategic operations, both inside Ukraine and in enemy-occupied territory.

It is widely regarded as one of the most professional and lethal formations in Ukraine’s Armed Forces, often compared to NATO-tier special operations units.
