The 4th Guards Tank Division, known as the “Kantemirovskaya” division, is a distinguished armored division within the Russian Armed Forces. Established during World War II, it has a storied history of participation in significant military engagements. In the current conflict in Ukraine, the “Kantemirovskaya” division has been actively involved in various operations. Notably, during the initial phases of the invasion in 2022, units from this division were engaged in battles in the Kharkiv, Sumy, and Chernihiv regions.
