The 71st Separate Jaeger Brigade (Military Unit Number A4030) is an elite air assault light infantry unit of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces. Formed in early 2022 in response to the Russian invasion, the brigade quickly transitioned from the Reserve Corps to active combat roles.

In April 2022, the brigade participated in operations in the Kharkiv Oblast, and by June, it was active in the Donbas region. Notably, in September 2022, units crossed the Donets River, leading an offensive on Balakliia.

The brigade has been instrumental in various key battles, including the defense of Bakhmut and engagements in the Zaporizhzhia direction during the 2023 counteroffensive.
