The 7th Guards Air Assault Division (Military Unit 61732) is one of the oldest and most combat-experienced formations in the Russian Airborne Forces (VDV). It was established on December 15, 1948, based on the 322nd Guards Rifle Division. The division is currently based in Novorossiysk.
