Russian VDV Patch (83rd separate assault brigade) with velcro.

This patch is used by the Russian Armed Forces during the war in Ukraine. The 83rd Brigade has been active since the beginning of the full-scale invasion in 2022. In March 2022, deputy commander Lt. Col. Vitaly Slabtsov was killed during combat in northern Ukraine.

The brigade has been deployed in key combat zones, including the Kharkiv, Vovchansk and Donetsk directions in 2022–now.
