8th Special Purpose Regiment Patch 7x8cm – Ukrainian SOF PVC Velcro Insignia

8th Special Purpose Regiment Patch 7x8cm is an elite PVC insignia used by one of the most experienced and combat-effective special forces units of Ukraine — the 8th Separate Special Purpose Regiment under the Ukrainian Special Operations Forces (SSO). This patch is made from rugged PVC, measures 7×8 cm, and includes a Velcro (hook side) backing for fast attachment to tactical gear and combat uniforms.

The regiment is tasked with executing high-priority operations including deep reconnaissance, sabotage, direct action, HVT raids, and missions behind enemy lines. Its operators are among the most highly trained in Ukraine’s military structure.

Historical Background – 8th Special Purpose Regiment:
The 8th SOF Regiment, based in Khmelnytskyi, has been active since the early stages of Russian aggression in 2014 and has conducted numerous successful operations in Donbas and other combat zones. Since 2022, the regiment has expanded its mission profile, playing a key role in sabotage operations, counter-diversionary missions, and special reconnaissance in the most contested regions of the war.
