Historical Background – 99th Separate Command and Support Battalion:

The 99th Separate Command and Support Battalion (military unit A3628) is an integral component of the Ukrainian Special Operations Forces. Initially stationed in Berdychiv, Zhytomyr Oblast, the battalion was later relocated to Brovary, Kyiv Oblast. Its primary mission encompasses providing comprehensive support to Special Operations units, including logistical, communication, and operational assistance.

Since August 2017, the battalion has actively participated in combat operations in the Donbas region, ensuring effective coordination and support for frontline Special Operations units.
