Chernihiv Regional Military Recruitment Center Patch 7x8cm – A PVC insignia representing the Черниговский областной ТЦК и СП (Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center) of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This patch measures 7×8 cm and is equipped with a Velcro (hook side) backing for field use on uniforms and jackets.

The patch is issued to officers and staff working in the military enlistment and mobilization system within Chernihiv Oblast. It identifies personnel involved in conscription, reservist processing, mobilization planning, and social support for service members and veterans.

Units under the TCK system have become increasingly important since 2022, as Ukraine scaled up national mobilization to respond to the Russian invasion. Personnel in TCK centers operate both in administrative capacities and in coordination with front-line logistics and recruitment.

Historical Background – Chernihiv Regional TCK and SP (Ukraine):

The Territorial Centers for Recruitment and Social Support (ТЦК та СП) were established across Ukraine in 2018 to replace the former military commissariats (военкоматы). The goal was to modernize recruitment, improve reserve force integration, and offer better support for veterans and active soldiers.

The Chernihiv Regional TCK and SP became especially relevant following the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion in 2022. The center coordinated mobilization waves, reserve training, and the dispatch of personnel to front-line units from across Chernihiv Oblast.

During the battle for Chernihiv in early 2022, many TCK personnel took up arms to defend the city, and the center became involved in civil-military coordination, evacuation support, and volunteer logistics.

The center continues to play a critical role in Ukraine’s military infrastructure during wartime, supporting the Armed Forces by maintaining force readiness and social protection for service members.
