ISIS Hunters Patch – Bilingual Skull Insignia

DESCRIPTION

This ISIS Hunters Patch is a circular embroidered insignia with a black textile field, red outer border, white lettering, and a central skull positioned inside a red weapon sight. Two embroidered bullet-hole motifs appear on the sides, strengthening the combat-themed design.

The upper inscription reads “ISIS HUNTERS.” The Arabic wording below repeats the same meaning and can be translated as “Hunters of Daesh.” The skull and crosshair present the wearer as a hunter of Islamic State fighters rather than as a member of that organization.

The name refers to the ISIS Hunters, a Syrian government-aligned formation created during the Syrian civil war to fight Islamic State forces. Open-source reporting places the formation within the Russian-supported Syrian military network and connects its training and field activity with the 5th Assault Corps and Wagner personnel. This context makes the design a Syrian counter-ISIS insignia rather than a general skull badge.

The Russian-trained Syria unit badge uses English and Arabic text so the identity can be understood across different military and regional audiences. Its crosshair skull emblem combines the unit name with direct targeting imagery, while the red, white, and black palette keeps every element clearly visible. The patch is machine embroidered with a rounded stitched edge and contains no personal name, rank, or individual formation number.
