The Main Directorate of Moral and Psychological Support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was established to ensure the mental resilience, ideological readiness, and internal stability of Ukraine’s military personnel. Its structure includes psychological service officers, chaplains, and information officers.

Since the beginning of the Russian invasion in 2014 and particularly during the full-scale war launched in 2022, the Directorate has played a vital role in managing combat stress, preventing disinformation, and reinforcing troop motivation on the front lines.

Its experts operate in both combat zones and rear positions, conducting training, individual support sessions, and large-scale morale campaigns to sustain Ukraine’s armed resistance against ongoing aggression.
