Bakhmut Counteroffensive Propaganda Leaflet – Berkhivka Appeal
20,00 €
The Bakhmut Counteroffensive Propaganda Leaflet is a two-sided Russian-language print addressed to Ukrainian servicemen in the Bakhmut sector. It refers to Berkhivka, presents claims about battlefield control, and directs the reader to the reverse for suggested ways to leave combat.
English translation:
“Servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine!
Contrary to rumours, the settlement of Berkhivka is under the control of the Russian Army, as is the entire Artemovsk (Bakhmut) area. You are being fed false reports that Ukrainian formations are capturing territory near Artemovsk and that Russian soldiers are fleeing. In reality, this is not the case.
Under the pretext of a ‘counteroffensive,’ your commanders are sending you to certain death. To save your life, you need only refuse senseless resistance and leave your positions by any possible means.
See the reverse for ways to avoid inevitable death and make the right choice!”
Reverse:
“How to avoid an inglorious and senseless death:
- Make sure nobody is watching you. It is best to cross while on night duty. Leave your weapon and move toward the nearest Russian positions.
- Speak with your comrades about the inevitability of death if resistance continues and cross in groups. Your absence will not be noticed immediately.
- Damage the weapons available in your unit so that it leaves its positions sooner for repairs.
- Citing the effects of shelling, cause yourself minor injuries and leave for treatment.”
The reverse also carries a QR code and the handle @BATTLESAILOR_13. This War in Ukraine battlefield leaflet may suit collections of Russian trophy propaganda print material and Ukraine war paper memorabilia. The statements above reproduce the item’s wording and are not presented as independently established facts.
