Captured Grozny Patch – Unity Shield with Two Flags
80,00 €
This Captured Grozny Patch carries «ГРОЗНЫЙ» above a pair of flags and a yellow handshake on a black shield. The lower inscription reads «НАША СИЛА В ЕДИНСТВЕ», translated as “Our strength is in unity.” The Russian tricolor appears on the left, with green, white and red Chechen colours on the right. Yellow lettering and a matching inner outline frame the complete design.
The upper word names Grozny, the capital of the Chechen Republic. It is a place name rather than a personal callsign. The lower sentence supplies the motto, with «наша сила» meaning “our strength” and «в единстве» meaning “in unity.” Both inscriptions are part of the pictured face. Their combination with the paired flags is the clearest basis for identifying this particular version.
The handshake occupies the lower centre, beneath the meeting point of the flags. Its yellow colour matches the text and border, while the flags provide the other colours within the otherwise dark field. The shield has a curved upper edge and a pointed bottom. The photograph shows visible wear around the Russian flag, where portions of the white, blue and red embroidery are loose and uneven.
As Russian trophy shield insignia, this specimen is distinguished by its full Grozny title and unity motto. The Grozny unity badge has a direct geographical reference, paired national and regional flag imagery, and a handshake rather than an animal or military weapon as its central lower device. Those features allow it to be compared with other Chechen themed patches while preserving the exact wording shown here.
The reverse photograph records dark hook backing across the shield, with attached fibres and worn edges visible. Both images show the same captured Russian patch: the front presents the complete design, and the second gallery image shows its attachment side. One specimen is offered at €80, with one available. The item supplied is the individual example in these two photographs. Its name, motto, flag arrangement and visible wear are recorded together so that the specific piece can be distinguished from another example of the design. The gallery provides two views of that one shield, including the full perimeter on both sides.
