8.5cm – Russian Embroidered Morale Patch “We’ll Return Even from Hell”

This 8.5 cm round embroidered patch belongs to the Storm Z (Шторм Z) assault unit, marked as the 25th Brigade. The patch features a skull motif and the bold Russian slogan “Мы вернемся даже с ада” (“We’ll return even from hell”), symbolizing the morale identity of Russia’s assault detachments formed as part of the Special Military Operation (SMO).

These patches have been observed on the gear of Russian contract soldiers and volunteers serving in penal assault battalions, formed to support frontline offensives in Ukraine. Storm Z formations were publicly acknowledged in 2023 and have since been associated with intense urban combat roles.
