Historical Background – 47th Separate Engineer Brigade:

Established on January 2, 2019, the 47th Separate Engineer Brigade (Military Unit A2755) is a key engineering formation within the Support Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Stationed in Dubno, Rivne Oblast, the brigade evolved from the 107th Road Support Center and includes the 301st and 304th separate road commandant battalions, as well as an engineer-sapper battalion.​

The brigade’s responsibilities encompass organizing road commandant services, constructing and repairing roads, establishing crossings and bridges, and escorting military convoys. They have been actively involved in the Joint Forces Operation, providing security and defense for critical infrastructure in Donetsk and Luhansk regions.​

In recognition of their service, the brigade has been awarded the honorary distinction “For Courage and Bravery.”
