This Captured Russian V Patch shows two helmeted soldiers facing each other above a large pale Latin letter V. Their raised gloved hands meet in the centre in a fist bump, while small Russian tricolors appear on both sleeves. The horizontal oval face uses dark figures against an olive background, with a dark outer border. An outlined geographical shape runs behind the heads in the upper part of the design.

The central letter is a Latin V, not a Cyrillic character. It extends from the soldiers’ inner arms toward the lower centre, where its two strokes meet in a broad point. Its pale colour makes it the most contrasting element on the face. The composition contains no written sentence around the perimeter, leaving the two figures, sleeve flags and letter to provide the identification.

The soldiers are shown from the upper body, with helmets, covered faces and outlined equipment. Their sleeves carry small white, blue and red flags, providing the bright colours within an otherwise subdued design. The fist bump sits directly above the central opening of the V. That relationship between the gesture and letter distinguishes the pictured layout from patches featuring a single operator or a standalone character on a plain field.

As Russian trophy oval insignia, this example can be catalogued through its horizontal shape and paired figures. The V sign soldier badge differs from a flag tab with an added letter, because the two soldiers occupy most of the available face. The olive ground, dark embroidered outlines, pale central V and two small sleeve tricolors form the complete arrangement visible in the supplied front photograph.

The reverse image shows dark hook backing across the oval, with attached fibres particularly visible near the edge. Both photographs belong to this individual combat used Russian patch. The front is featured first, while the reverse appears as the second gallery image. One specimen is offered at €80, with one available. The listing concerns the actual oval example pictured, including its fist bump scene and contrasting letter. The paired views provide the decorated face and attachment side of that single item, allowing the outline and visible surface appearance to be compared from both directions.
