Captured Cheburashka Patch – Oranges Slogan and Armed Cartoon

DESCRIPTION

This Captured Cheburashka Patch shows an armed military version of the large eared cartoon character within a red bordered circle. The upper inscription reads «ЗАЧЕБУРАШИМ», with «ПО САМЫЕ АПЕЛЬСИНЫ» around the lower edge. The brown and yellow character wears green military headgear carrying a small Russian tricolor, and holds a weapon with a circular drum and an ammunition belt. Pale letters surround the illustration on a dark ground.

The upper word is an invented expression formed from the character’s name. It is wordplay rather than a standard military term, so the original Cyrillic is retained here for precise identification. The lower phrase refers to “oranges,” literally using the words “right up to the oranges.” Together they create an intentionally absurd military cartoon slogan whose wording is better preserved than replaced with an unrelated English catchphrase.

The illustration gives the familiar rounded ears and small face an angry expression, with bared teeth and angled brows. The green and pale uniform contrasts with the brown ears, while the belt of ammunition extends down beside the weapon. A small white, blue and red flag appears on the right of the headgear as viewed in the photograph. The bright red perimeter separates this version from subdued examples using an olive outline.

As Russian trophy cartoon insignia, the piece is identified through both the character and the complete sentence. The Cheburashka military badge combines an illustrated figure, military equipment and name based humour within a circular layout. The visible face carries the two slogan sections around the edge rather than a regiment number or geographical title. Its exact colour arrangement and wording distinguish the design from other armed cartoon characters.

The reverse photograph shows dark hook backing across the circular shape, with small attached fibres visible on the surface. Both images record this one combat used Russian slogan patch. The face is the main product image, and the reverse is the second view in the gallery. One specimen is available at €80. The item offered is the particular example in these photographs, including its red edge, dark field and pale circular lettering. The two views show opposite sides of that single piece, allowing the decorated face and attachment side to be examined together.
